Brian's 67 Turbo Sunbeam Alpine

Last updated. 11/17/2011. Added dyno chart, lifter cover, valvetrain, cooling system, new motor pictures and specs. .

This is the first car my parents ever bought as a couple. It was given to me in 1989 as a fixer upper. Little did they know, nor did I, that this car would transform into a one of a kind show car which is driven hard, not hardly driven. I know this one is unique since I designed and built every custom part on the car. Of all the modifications I have made, I wanted to be sure and keep the car an Alpine. Although this car has had 3 different motors, it has always been an Alpine motor, and will always stay that way. Typically, people wouldn't waste the time or money trying to squeeze every last horsepower out of a motor that came stock with 90bhp, but I'm not typical. Check out the links on the left and see what I mean.
